Ashtanga classes - Mysore style.
Named after the city in South India where Krishnamacharya and Jois lived, this is the original way of learning yoga asana. This is the only Mysore style class available in Eastbourne.
Students can practise between 7:30 AM and 9:00 AM.
Throughout this time, I will give you individual attention and help you cultivate responsibility for your own yoga practice. I will help you learn the primary series of Ashtanga yoga, help you approach new or more challenging postures in a way that is safe and suitable to your anatomy and level of practice. I will offer hands-on adjustments and encourage you to work with your breath and bandhas.
A block of six sessions over the summer commencing on July 12th.
Classes will run on July 12th, 19th and 16th AND August 16th, 23rd and 30th.
